...right? Or is it something else? Hmm... maybe that's why I haven't found it yet. =-/ Anywho, I'm turning 16 in less than a week and would very much like to find Neverland before that time. In fact, I've got several people who've asked me to take them too when- IF- I find it. =-D Anybody know where to find it? I was gonna write a novel called "The Land of Neverwas" for my NaNo novel last year, but decided I couldn't afford to take the time off my (current) novel(s)... maybe I'll go THERE in a couple years... tho', I kinda have the feeling that 16 is the official age of "leaving the nursery"... =-) Ah well. I guess it's not so bad as I'm making it sound. I don't think I'd quite fit in Neverland any more... grown too much these past months. And, God created us to grow 'up and out', so to speak. ("When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me." I Cor. 13:11), and His plans are ALWAYS (WITHOUT exception) the best. (maybe that's why no one has, to this date, made it to Neverland... well, except for the Darlings and lost boys, of course... =-D ) Not to mention that denial never makes anything any better... =-)
Funny thing, tho'... when I was "little", I could never envision myself as 16... I could imagine being 15, even... but 16 just seemed "too big". So I guess I'm about to embark on an adventure across uncharted territory. And, I HAVE always been one for adventures. *stares down big ominous number SIXTEEN* Bring it on.
*whispers* But do you still think it'd be ok for me to VISIT Neverland? I've always wanted to meet Peter Pan... =-D
